6 hours in line!
He was placed on the next day's flight out, and given taxi vouchers. He has a place to stay, so I guess they didn't offer anything else. He's returning from study abroad. Apparently it was quite chaotic. |
| Ok |
| Thanks for the update, we were worried about him |
| Why didn’t he just rebook online?! |
| Why is this a post? |

For those that aren't aware, this was a HUGE storm

OP has nothing else going on with her life is my guess. |
| Who is returning from study abroad in January? I thought those semester long programs start in January. Was this like a two week winter break kinda thing? If so, that’s a trip, not study abroad. |
| Why didn’t he call the airline instead? No one in the right mind waits for six hours to rebook. |
| A friend in Paris had an issue with the snow a few days ago. Weather events in winter, not unusual. |
Seriously. He should’ve been standing in line and on the phone with the airline at the same time. |
| Mon dieu. |
|
OP here. He couldn’t call. It was so noisy he couldn’t hear anything on the phone. He was directed to a line to change his flight for free and was afraid he’d have to pay if he left and tried to rebook by himself.
Yes, study abroad for a semester with extra month. He’s returning just in time for Monday classes. |
| Time to land the helicopter |
lol. No. |
