They do have a point though. Do you do everything for your DC's or do you let them figure things out on their own |
YES! Yes a million times. |
People who send their children to private school are insecure and pretentious |
We have a school population that is over 50% asian. Trust me, they are too busy pushing their kids to actually give a crap about the schools. Hence, why our PTA is so poorly supported. |
PTA is a SAHM institution, it serves no benefit to anyone except bored housewives |
No, they still deserve a free public education until 12th grade. However, the reform thing is bogus because this is not the movies and those things like Stand And Deliver don't happen because data, they happen out of a genuine relationship of trust between teacher and pupil. Not much change is going to happen when the DCPS, esp the ghetto ones, are a revolving door. The sold are desperate for teachers so they hire a lot of first years. Once the teacher had something on the resume, it's off to the suburbs they go. These kids lack consistency in the first place, that's a huge part of the problem. TLDR: the reform starts in the families, not schools. DC should be having public campaigns about family life and chill out on the data. |
NP here. Can you cite chapter and verse where Jesus supports it? |
This is not surprising. Joel Osteen is a heretic and while he says "inspirational" things, he grossly misinterprets the Bible. I'm sure you're a nice person PP, and I'm sorry you're misled. |
This common core math reform is BS. Kids were never going to understand math no matter how you phrase it |
Still waiting on Jesus' condemnation of homosexuality..... |
Staying together for the kids in the absence of abuse is the smartest decision long term. Marriage isn't necessarily a romantic venture insomuch as a life, which involves more than just romance. I think it's short sighted and dumb to leave a spouse if it puts you and your family in a worse situation economically. I also think long term, love is something bigger than just romance. It's surviving life together through all of its ups and downs.
That said, I think divorcing a spouse who is economically sinking you is a good idea. I actually supported my sibling who left their unemployed SAHP because that ex was an albatross financially and didn't pull their weight at home. Interesting enough, the ex-SAHP left the kids with my sibling to raise alone to find themselves. They were just useless. |
Are you gay or just asexual? How's your self esteem? |
1. I don't hate nor think down upon those who don't vaccinate. DD is fully vaccinated.
2. I'd happily give up a percentage of my salary for universal healthcare for all US citizens. 3. I'd love firearms to be banned, while I know it's unrealistic. |
