These days, all the young kids start out that way: the Disney channel started all these artists off really young (Timberlake, Miley cyrus, Cristina, Britney etc) so they could grab the tween/teen kids and their parents money. That way when the artists go on to adulthood, the commercial money making machine is already in place. Her longevity has little to do with her brilliance and everything to do with 1. Her stable parents and 2. Marketing and commercialization of her product.

Someone found the exact shirt online and it's a Chiefs shirt. Those are also two colors that Taylor doesn't wear under normal circumstances.

Her stable parents and 2. Marketing and commercialization of her product.
