There’s so many electives. What is your kids interest or things they have questions to explore?

Does anyone have the list of electives they can post?

My kid chose Einstein over the other DCC schools for visual and performing arts electives. She was hoping to take AP Music Theory but the principal didn’t even put it on the course bulletin!

This is why I think these special programs will be in name only. Principals have too much power and little oversight

There are different electives in each school.

OP-you need to give us more guidance. My kid is taking show choir. I bet that's not very useful for you. If you give us some criteria, we may have some insight.

My question is: What does your kid think of the electives? Particularly interesting or engaging? As intense or challenging as AP classes or more relaxing? Duds? Gems?

I realize a lot depends on school or teacher.

Many do. They all should have some sort of financial literacy course available, often in the social studies or math department.
