2 wwwks in Asia with Hong Kong as the initial entry point- February 2026. Where would you go?

What interests you? What time of year?
We have done Hong Kong, Bejing, and Japan trips and Hong Kong Singapore trips. You could go from Singapore to Bali.

Hong Kong has easy, inexpensive flights all over the region. I would go to Vietnam (maybe to Hoi An or the mountains depending on the time of year) and then to Malaysia (Borneo or the east coast islands, again, the time of year matters as some of the places are inaccessible in monsoon season.). You could fly out of Kuala Lumpur rather than returning to HK to maximize your time as it also has good connection flights everywhere.

I did not love S Korea, but have visited Japan twice and would go again.
I have never been to Vietnam, so it’s still on my list.

I would check out Shenzhen if you are in HK though.

I wouldn’t want to go to Japan or S Korea in February but if you pack right, it’ll be fine. Depending on the type of vacation you’re looking for, Thailand and Cambodia are good.

I combined Hong Kong with Singapore and Bangkok. Great trip.

I agree HK plus Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City could be a great trip.

As could HK plus Tokyo and Kyoto.

I loved HK but my only visit was in 2018 so not sure what is same or different now. I could take that ferry all day!!

Japan. Forget everywhere else. I've been all over that continent. You could go to an island or Bali or something similar if you want to get a bit away. But really, Japan is just so fantastic.

Regarding Bali, I've been there several times. It's a great cultural experience but the beaches and tropical vibe sucks.
