Actually lots and lots of white people (including me) watched Northern exposure. But PP is probably under 40. For PP, do you know Carries cute carpenter boyfriend? Northern Exposure is the tv show that made him famous. HTH.

Meanwhile, what a great Thanksgiving story ….

I never watched Northern Exposure and have never heard of her. I'm 49 - the show just didn't appeal to me.

I wonder if ICE has quotas for the number of people they get deported or to a certain place in the process of deportation, like the same way cops have monthly quotas.

I love the idea of them trying to deport a Native American though. "Go back where you came from." Okay, and then the person takes over the ICE person's house because the land used to be theirs.

Lol. That's funny.
Northern Exposure is a comedy drama show. What's not to like about it.

I can't imagine not liking the show. I was in grad school then, single parent to a preschooler, and the night it was on TV was a solid commitment for me. Was it Sunday nights? I seem to remember having to get quizzes prepared for my TA students while watching the show.

I wonder what people who didn't like that show do like to watch. It wasn't just comedy drama, it had a lot of quirkiness and magical realism too. And Chris was like the Garrison Keillor of the community (ie the news from Lake Wobegan).

Sadly ironic since she’s indigenous.

I loved her on Northern Exposure, but I’m Gen X. I think it’s on Netflix now.

The lead was unappealing to me. Get over yourself.

Why do you believe her? This is about quasi celebrities seeking PR

Standard operating procedure, provoke a confrontation, get some video, then demand outrage.

I live in the PNW. This is true. ICE is Gestapo.

+1 I’m the PP and I’m 47 and never watched the show either. It never appealed to me. I did watch ER though.

Stop with the propaganda.

ICE should have never picked her up!
