| I encountered a small business that only accepts checks and money orders. No credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, PayPal etc. I literally do not have a checkbook any more. They looked at me like I had four eyes. Am I the only one that doesn’t use checks anymore? |
| Yes, and I use them weekly. |
| Yes, of course. I have a checking account and it comes with checks. |
| Yes, because now they have added fees on credit card transactions. Also i don’t want to send my debit card info if I get a bill and can’t pay online for some reason. And I use them for special occasion gifts where I can see if it’s been cashed. Granted these are examples are uncommon. |
I have a checking account too and I could order checks (for a fee) but haven’t bothered for years |
| I do but do not carry them around. Mine are so old they still say Chevy Chase Bank on them. CapOne took them over a decade or more ago. |
| Yes, for 2 different accounts but don't carry them around either. |
| Yes. I pay some bills that way. Especially if I don't want them getting my card info. |
| Checks are for the elderly |
|
Yes, of course. We pay certain people with checks and we need checks to transfer money to our bank in our native country.
|
On those still work? I might have a decade old checkbook in the back of a dresser somewhere |
| I DO have 4 eyes and also have a checkbook. |
| You can use your bank bill pay system, enter the merchant info and it will mail them a check. |
| I wind up having to write a check about once a year. |
|
Yes we use checks.
