| Apparently it’s a huge problem, especially with younger men and even college age. How widespread is this? |
| Pretty widespread but not a problem in our marriage. Neither of us gamble. |
| My DH doesn’t even watch sports |
| No. Thank heavens. He doesn't gamble at all and won't even buy a lottery ticket because he considers it a total waste of money given the odds. |
| No but I do. So what? |
It's been really pushed and normalized with the sports betting apps and heavy advertising with celebs, etc. Really unfortunate. My mother gambled a lot; slots at the casino. She could afford to sit there all night, but it was still very depressing. Gambling is bad, bad, bad. |
I don’t either, but what does have to do with it? |
According to who |
| No, because he's not a degenerate. |
Loser |
| Used to but stopped cold turkey |
| There are better ways of gambling that sports ball. |
Right. Just zero desire there to get involved. |
No, he likes being alive. |
Are you slow? Someone uninterested in sports isn’t likely to gamble on them. Do try to keep up, mkay? |
