Do your husbands gamble on sports?

Apparently it’s a huge problem, especially with younger men and even college age. How widespread is this?
Anonymous
Pretty widespread but not a problem in our marriage. Neither of us gamble.

My DH doesn’t even watch sports

No. Thank heavens. He doesn't gamble at all and won't even buy a lottery ticket because he considers it a total waste of money given the odds.

No but I do. So what?

It's been really pushed and normalized with the sports betting apps and heavy advertising with celebs, etc. Really unfortunate.

My mother gambled a lot; slots at the casino. She could afford to sit there all night, but it was still very depressing. Gambling is bad, bad, bad.

Are you slow? Someone uninterested in sports isn’t likely to gamble on them.

Do try to keep up, mkay?
