2 texts, 2 different numbers (no names) in DH's phone...
One said: how are you? The other one: What a cute dog! What's her name? Is it just spam or should I be concerned? Should i ask DH (even though he could lie) |
|
Did DH answer? Why are you looking in his phone? Can he go look thru your phone? Call the numbers from your phone and see who answers. If it's a guy you know DZh is on the down low.
OP you are a psycho. |
| I get bs spam texts that sound just like that all the time. I assume it is some scammer, but might just be a wrong number. I usually block and delete in case it is some scammer. All that's to say, go ahead and ask, but an "I don't know" isn't necessarily a lie. |

Do you have a dog?
|
| spam! |
| Is there a back and forth? Anything that’s being deleted? I get random texts asking do you want to go to dinner etc and always delete and block. |
| I get spam text #1 all the friggin time and just click delete and report spam. Haven’t gotten text #2, but if it’s someone really responding to a dog pic they likely wouldn’t say “what a cute dog” because it would already been known that the subject of the pic was a dog. It should just be “how cute” or whatever so yes I suspect spam. |
| The how are you is likely spam. The dog one probably not. |
| Do you actually have reason for concern? What made you look at his phone? |
|
The how are you is spam
not sure about the dog one |
| Spam |
| It’s spam. I get so many “how r u” “u busy”. They’re fishing for a response to start their scheme. The dog one would expect a response of “who is this” or “I think you have the wrong number” followed by them saying something like “isn’t this Sam?” And then your DH discloses too much personal information. |
| He's cheating. |
| OP here. We have not been intimate in a decade (his choice, he's heavily medicated) so I will be pretty mad if he's stepping out. We do have a dog. |
I get spam texts all the time like that and don't even have a dog. |
