Our kid got $15,000 a year. Applied as a history major, 1540 SAT, 4.0 uw from non DC private. Received acceptance in early September. Good luck to all!

My kid also got 15K/yr for Dietrich. Similar stats to OP but at a public.

Did your kid send AP scores? My son forgot to fill it in common app. How much is the out of pocket after 15K merit award?

My kid got $10k/year Dietrich with 1460 SAT and 4.0 uw from DC public.

Received $10k offer last night, Dietrich, 34 ACT, 4.0/4.9 GPA from MCPS

The kids getting $10k seems not that far apart from the kids getting $15k. I wonder what their cutoff is? They all seem like really excellent students.

Maybe test scores because grades are identical. 1500/35 plus for 15,000?

1500 is equivalent to 34 so I would guess the cutoff is probably around 1540/35

These awards seem low. Not enough to bring it to in-state tuition.

Yes. This may be it. My kid who got $15k had a 1560.
