Does HM give feedback after kid interview/playgroup?

Anonymous
This is for K, we finished but interview but haven't heard back anything so far... so just wondering...

I don’t think so. What would be the point? For what it’s worth, we did ours and didn’t hear back either. It’s not fun waiting until February. I don’t even understand why it takes so long to make a decision

What does child say? I thought they also took a test for K. Wouldn’t that be more of a factor?

What order did you do your parent interview and child playgroup? Maybe you get feedback if you did the child playgroup first and then the parent interview?

Our interview and kid interview happened at same time, therefore we were not able to ask about the feedback in parent interview. But we are in a connected preschool, so I was wondering if they would tell our director any feedback.

Lighten up. If you can't take a joke, you are not going to do well with this process.

Our PSD took down the dates of every child playdate at the beginning of the process and calls the next day for feedback.

Nice! Now I feel stupid for underestimating the importance of these preschools directors in this process.

Does she really call them after every play visit? Wont that annoy admissions people rather than batch calling on behalf of your preschool cohort?

Wow! Your PSD is really good!

I’m surprised some of the schools don’t tell her to stop annoying them.

That’s probably how they all are though. It’s a little secret society of admission folks passing notes under the table.

It called brokering.

If you watch the documenting such as Getting In… Kindergarten, you can see how important the role of preschools director is. Helping parents with the application process, managing parent's expectations, etc... People always recommend TT preschools for that reason.
