Would you be concerned if your child was a sophomore dating a senior?

The title says it all. I am a sophomore who is looking to get with a senior. I don't know if my parents will be concerned. Do you think they will be? If so I will just not clue them in on the situation. THx!

In HS? Sorry, no dating in HS.

The senior only wants to practice having sex with you so that he is not a virgin at college. LOL.

In the meanwhile, you will torpedo your academic success.

Ask your parents how they would feel about it.

Dating a senior is a terrible idea -- they will dump you sometime between March and July.

I did this and ended up wasting 4 years of my life that I could have been having fun in a "long distance relationship."

If she's otherwise mature enough to date, I would be fine with it. It's possibly a mistake, but the kind of mistake you let a teenager make.

Depends on the senior. Some just want to screw as many people as possible, and some genuinely happen to like someone who is a couple years younger.

Check your ages and the statutory rape laws in tour state. Dating teens can run afoul of these and if someone rats you out....

lol. Good luck with that buddy.

If it's a soph boy dating a senior girl, would be a little concerned about him getting hurt.
If it's a soph girl dating a senior boy then no that's normal for fresh/soph girls to date seniors and jr/sir girls to date college age or older.
