POTUS and FLOTUS have COVID

Anonymous

He walked, so he’s not very sick, but since he’s very high risk, they’re taking due precautions. This could end badly

You are clueless.

There is a beautiful, large suite of rooms where patients of his ilk are treated.

VERY cushy and spacious, not a hospital room.

Thaaaaaaat sounds like bullsht.

Many hospitals have VIP suites. I haven’t been to one at WR, but the ones I’ve seen look like hotel suites - with room for medical equipment. So, definitely not BS that a hospital charged with caring for the POTUS would have something similar, that also meets standards for high level security.

DP. Yes that's true, but it's besides the point. It's stil a hospital, not a hotel.

OMG — Walter Reed is the hospital for the POTUS. It’s literally known as The President’s Hospital. There are Executive suites for the POTUS, sleeping quarters, secure area. It’s a military installation. So yes, any POTUS and his/her staff can keep working.

He looks fine, maybe just doing this charade for sympathy.

Good, hopes he pulls through.

If he does, I want those remdesivir antibodies in every infusion clinic nationwide.

Marine One. WR. All this security. Huge costs to treat Trump and FLOTUS at our expense.

No question that we must do it and pay for it.

All because this shit head refused to wear a mask. Vanity.

I hope this dude gets it after this.

There are some terribly ignorant twits on this thread.

They must have injected him with drugs...maybe some type of stimulus.

Following the Boris Johnson trajectory to a T. It was listed as a mild case around 8AM this morning too.

Makes sense that he would quarantine there. He can continue to work while being monitored and not putting WH staff at risk.

He can do that in his bedroom at the White House, and it would be safer too.

Once again: he’s the POTUS. They’re not about to take any chances. It’s quite bizarre that some of you have an issue with the POTUS heading to Walter Reed for observation.

What you are not getting is that if you aren't that sick, it is safer not to be in the hospital.

Sure, if you are the average person. But this is POTUS at Walter Reed. It may be overkill but there is no safer place for him. I just hope they take his phone.

No definitely not even for him at Walter Reed. Hospitals are inherently germy places because duh, that's where the sick people are. You can get exposed to germs just walking in and all the doctors and nurses who treat you are also in danger of transmitting diseases to you. On the other hand, if he were at home, he can still be under 24 hour observation with a dedicated staff, who aren't even walking by another sick person.

I thought so too. The hair looked whiter than normal for starters.

Oh never heard of this person. Is he a doctor or does he work for Fox News?

You mean Reagan who was SHOT in an assassination attempt?? And you think he should have been working while recovering??

Do you people have any clue how stupid you sound?

Yes. H the as working while recovering you moron. He was working back at the WH and not at WR because WR didn’t have the facilities or the security structure in place for that. Geez. Read my post again and you might get it.

How many decades ago was this? Three? Four? Things change. Amazing that you can’t grasp this.

Look, just because he walked doesn't mean it's not serious. Usually people don't get dangerously ill for a few days. But clearly they don't like what they're seeing from him or they wouldn't bring him there.

I can't imagine he'll die. He's getting the absolute best care.
