Being stupid, if that's how you want to label it, is not illegal. The federal agents should be better trained and better equipped to handle situations with civilians. They are failing at their jobs. Civilians are allowed to be stupid and they are allowed to make mistakes. If you're going to carry a gun for our government, you don't get to make mistakes that end with dead civilians without consequences. It can have been an accident (it wasn't), but there still must be accountability and consequences. And our government should not be making excuses for it. End of story.

The Pretti shooting is bad because it was a mistake. I don't belive they wanted to shoot him. They were trying to subdue him, "Gun" was yelled and was present, Gray coat runs away with it and accidentally discharges it. That shot prompts the agents to open up.

All of it was wrong, but heres the thing. Good and Pretti were both absolute idiots inviting disaster. None of this would have happened if they didnt insert themselves.

This will continuwe to happen. There will be more. The choice is up to the protestors. ICE isnt going anywhere.

Our government can choose to change how ICE proceeds, stop lying about their statistics, train them better, hold them accountable for poor behavior, and actually focus on criminals rather than just brown people.

Heck even the libertarian Cato Institute has pointed out that DHS lies about primarily targeting criminals and lies about their data!

Both killers were veteran ICE and DHS. We can't better train our way of of this. Ro Kanna had some good proposals. Eventually, both need to be shrunk wildly. Why the heck is DHS even operating in the US interior?
