Mass Deportation: this is going to be expensive

Shock and awe is part of it. It encourages people not to come, and those already here to leave.

so by now, OP should see that Trump is successful. After Biden claimed there WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO. and Harris claimed there WAS NOTHING SHE WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY.

is there any confusion over why Democrats lost bad?

and will lose again, until they get on the side of US workers and stop the overwhelming immigration.

Trump says he didn’t sign proclamation invoking Alien Enemies Act

What was that projection about Biden and "auto-pens?"

Yet Democrats keep insisting they are against open borders, and it is all Trump's fault for blocking a bill.

It is Trump's fault. Democrats would be fine with dealing with securing the border and dealing with immigration IF IT'S DONE LEGALLY.

Trump and the Republicans keep showing no interest in doing that.

Democrats sued to stop states from putting up border wall or enforcing immigration law.
Democrats canceled Trump's initiatives to let in more illegal imimgrants.

Your argument falls short for a few reasons.

1) why did the GOP tank its own immigration reform bill?
2) if there were so many "illegals" in the US, why is Trump deporting people here legally and actual US born citizens?

NEW: ICE confirms to
@FoxNews
that they arrested Jeanette Vizguerra, a convicted criminal Mexican illegal alien & immigration activist, in Aurora, CO yesterday. ICE confirms she has a final order of removal (deportation order) via a DOJ immigration judge, and has repeatedly had due process, including multiple stays of deportation. She notoriously hid in a Denver church for years to avoid deportation, and she has remained an immigration fugitive.

Despite having a final order of removal stretching back to the Obama administration, several Democrat politicians in Colorado falsely claimed today that Vizguerra has had no due process, including Denver Mayor
@MikeJohnstonCO
, who called her arrest a “Putin-style persecution of a political dissident”, and Senator
@MichaelBennet
, who claimed ICE detained her “without any due process, like a deportation order.”

ICE confirms she does, in fact, have a deportation order, and has had one for years.

Below is the background & criminal history on Vizguerra up until 2019, according to ICE:

•On Feb. 5, 2009, the ICE Denver office lodged an immigration detainer on Vizguerra-Ramirez.

•On Feb. 26, 2009, the Arapahoe County Court, Centennial, Colorado, convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of forged instrument possession 2nd degree, and sentenced her to a term of 23 days in jail.

•On Feb. 27, 2009, ICE took custody of Vizguerra-Ramirez from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office pursuant to an immigration detainer.

•On March 11, 2009, Vizguerra-Ramirez was released from ICE custody after posting an immigration bond.

•On March 27, 2009, Arapahoe County Court convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of failure to display proof of insurance and driving without a license and ordered her to pay fines.

•On Nov. 18, 2011, a federal immigration judge denied Vizguerra-Ramirez her application for relief from immigration proceedings, but granted her a voluntary departure (considered an immigration benefit). She failed to depart the U.S. per the terms of the order within the 60-day window and instead filed an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) on Dec. 16, 2011.

•On Sept. 8, 2012, Vizguerra-Ramirez self-removed to Mexico.

•On April 22, 2013, U.S. Border Patrol arrested Vizguerra-Ramirez in Candelaria, Texas, after she illegally returned to the U.S., and referred her case for federal prosecution for illegal re-entry after removal (a felony).

•On May 1, 2013, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Pecos Division, convicted Vizguerra-Ramirez of illegal entry (a misdemeanor), and sentenced her to one year of unsupervised probation.

•On May 2, 2013, Vizguerra-Ramirez entered ICE custody in El Paso, Texas, where her prior removal order was reinstated, pending her Dec. 16, 2011, BIA appeal.

•On May 30, 2013, the BIA considered Vizguerra-Ramirez’s case withdrawn because she departed the U.S. prior to a decision being made on her appeal.

•On June 7, 2013, ICE in El Paso released Vizguerra-Ramirez on an order of supervision because under policy at the time she did not meet the agency’s priorities for removal.

•On July 2, 2014, ICE granted Vizguerra-Ramirez’s application for stay of deportation until Feb. 1, 2015.

•On Feb. 20, 2015, ICE in Denver granted Vizguerra application for stay of deportation until Aug. 19, 2015.

•On Feb. 15, 2017, ERO Denver denied another application for stay of deportation. Her counsel notified ICE that she would be taking sanctuary in the First Unitarian Society Church in Denver and would not be reporting to ICE as ordered.

•On May 11, 2017, Vizguerra-Ramirez received an automatic stay of removal due to Senate Bill 603, a private bill submitted on her behalf and her removal was stayed until March 15, 2019. The private bill was not enacted.

•On March 14, 2019, Vizguerra-Ramirez once again sought sanctuary at the First Unitarian Society Church in Denver where she remains an immigration fugitive.

Of course, the Denver mayor is condemning this arrest. Even though she has been ordered deported multiple times under multiple administrations.

Going by the timing of events, you can’t solely blame Trump administration, it looks like they are simply doing what previous administrations failed to do and I say this as a Democrat. On a personal level I have sympathy for her circumstances but there’s no arguing that she broke the law in multiple occasions.

Well said. Thank you. The Democrat open border policies have devastated our country, most of all, our LEGAL immigrants who we appreciate.

This woman living in our country, working at Target (how is she doing that if she's here illegally?), raising her American citizen children -- how is that "devastating" our country?

How many more do you want to allow to come here and not follow our laws? American voters showed you how they feel by electing Trump.
that creep breaks the law every day and you voted for him. Break that down for the audience.

https://apple.news/Azc_QxwuoTymMEiX8wszEtA

First, this is going to take years to construct, and will line government contractors pockets with the overhead. Second, US citizens will be responsible for housing, food and transportation costs during the time period for adjudication. It seems like this set up is aimed to further privatize the deportation process at an enormous expense to American taxpayers.

Why is this more viable than having immigrants work while awaiting adjudication? Increase tracking capabilities and require employers of immigrants to maintain information on them. It will cost a fraction of the money used to construct and maintain these facilities.

Hey OP, it is now March and illegal immigration has been halted. Many are self deporting. All the doom and gloom you predicted has not happened.

Maybe next time push Democrats to follow the laws.

Biden did so much to try to destroy this country.
He truly will go down as the worst president ever.

JUST IN: The suspect who is accused of k*lling a mother of 5 in Cobb County, Georgia, is an illegal immigrant who was released into the country under Biden, according to
@BillMelugin_
.

Grandmother Camillia Williams was targeted in a random attack around March 12.

Her body was later found dumped in the woods.

“David Hector Rivas-Sagastume, a 21-year-old Honduran national, entered the United States illegally on March 17, 2021, and was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol,” DHS said to Fox News.

“He was issued a notice to appear and paroled into the country by the previous administration. A judge ordered him removed on July 11, 2023.”

“On March 18, 2025, he was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department for capital m*rder and other crimes.”

If there are so many murderers that Biden let loose, why are you focusing on deporting citizen pediatric cancer patients, doctors, and grad students with no criminal records and legitimate papers?

Smells like a bait and switch to me.

Face it - Biden totally f'ed up and has left this administration to attempt to clean up the pile of shit he left.

Biden and Harris shower no regarded for our national security or public safety. They released this illegal inmigrant without vetting him at the border and then refused to remove him after a judge ordered him deported. Unfortunately, this woman lost her life due to their total disregard for the safety of Americans. They should be criminally charged for her murder. I’m so glad I voted against them. I don’t care what Trump does. Nothing could be as bad as what Biden and Harris did at our border.

And yet - you can’t prove you found a single member of that gang. Sure you rounded up a handful of citizens with tattoos, but we are curiously short of criminal records. You’d think unrepentant criminals would have some record of committing crimes. And yet, none has been provided. Hmm… maybe Trump is just too incompetent?
