SSFS HOS leaving

If high student attrition also contributed to the financial instability, what is the school doing/communicating to ensure it won’t happen again? Or is it just wait and see?

Pretty much just wait and see. And being told the things being worked on, what more could you possibly want, ignoring concerns, and basically slapping wrists for being upset.

I think you meant to say that you don't like her. Surely you don't claim to know that nobody at all likes her.

And that's one of the problems with this forum. Constant speculation and over generalizing to create an echo chamber of negativity.

Okay that’s fair. I don’t know everyone. However I did hear a lot of negative feedback but have no heard positive feedback from parents and teachers. The positive minded ppl must not have spoken out. But yes they may exist. I have heard and seen for myself they her personality is not one of consensus building in the Quaker way which rubs ppl the wrong way. Perhaps this is how you fix things. But she hasn’t given a warm fuzzy to many ppl. Do all 600 student families dislike her? I’m sure maybe don’t even have an opinion. But given the first set of opinions about her were all negative she didn’t seem like she could be that well liked. All I’ve heard is that she doesn’t really seem to get the ssfs community so thank goodness she has a term limit. And genuinely I personally have no heard any positive feedback on her. I’m not being sarcastic, just genuinely haven’t.

If you have please share. But don’t negate what I said without having anything to counter.

I don't negate YOUR personal opinion. I am calling you out and anyone else who over generalizes. That is my counter. Stop doing it.

As far as the interim goes. I have no opinion. And quite frankly don't feel the need to bother myself with an opinion of her as she is an interim.

No it’s not my personal opinion. It’s the only opinion I have heard from anyone- and the opinion of multiple ppl.

So I’ve heard from multiple - teacher and parents in the PA - and you have no opinion one way or other. It still means more negative than positive.

The high school was unstable way before the current year. 4 heads in 4 years hardly exemplifies stability.

Yup that pretty much sums up the ssfs experience.

Only really complacent ppl are satisfied by that if you ask me.

No. It only means that YOU have heard more negative than positive. But it's also suggested from your posts that you want to believe there's more negative than positive - so be it.

So, those that are satisfied are complacent? The moronicy of that mindset is astounding.

Is the HS truly unstable? For me and my HS kid, stability is more about the day to day operations and the student experience. Despite the turnover at the top, my kid has had a stable HS experience for multiple years now.

multiple years of stable US experience here, including this year

Public School teachers all over the country are laughing at what's being referred to as "chaos". These are privileged people problems. Further, the "chaos" creator is gone and most of these "problems" have been addressed or are being addressed currently.

Wow my lengthy post listing all the instability issues with the US was just deleted. Just wow. Clearly relisting the actual problems the US had the last few years isn’t going to work. I wonder if this post will stay up long.

Wild. The censors are working overtime. Another poster who said something about looking into Glasgow group just got deleted. Really interesting
