Spinoff-ish - How much have you spent in 2025 at Disney?

I’m curious to see the ranges in expenses. Counting travel and lodging!

(I haven’t been since probably 2004/2005 so I’m very much curious about 2025 prices)

Count on $1k/day for a family of 4.

Four night Disney cruise for 2 = $2,500 including on-board expenses and excursions.

We went in Oct. 2024 so I feel that's close enough. 6 day tickets were about $700 each. So x4 = $2800. $180 for parking. $325 for a rental car. Our offsite hotel was under $200/night and breakfast was included so $1200. $200/day in food and snacks in the park, so another $1200. $1000 for 4 plane tickets. About $350 for Lightening Lanes a couple of the days (didn't need it the other days.)

Added up it's $7k. In reality, we used points for the hotel and plane tickets, so that saved us $2200. So $5800.

We stayed with family but park tickets were $1000 for two days, two parks for two adults, one child. Food wasn’t particularly expensive, maybe $50 per day for lunch and a few drinks and snacks. $30 per day for parking. $700 for flights for three, $364 for a rental car for a week.

Last time we went, we used Marriott point for swan and dolphin so hotel was free. 4 days of park tickets with lightning lane each day was $2600. Flights were fairly cheap—$1000 total for 4 ppl roundtrip. Uber to/from Orlando airport was $60 each way. Food/drinks about $250 a day; approx $1400 if you include arrival/departure days plus 4 park days.

If that is what you are doing, you are doing it wrong. But you don't actually go to Disney which is why you don't know that.

Plenty of vacation rentals near Disney at or below that price point. What's your point? Or are you lost?

We will spend $4000 for flights, car, 2 nights at a disney hotel and tickets for 3 days at Disney/1 at Epic universe using points for 2 nights of hotels. Depending on accruals we may use points for the flight too. This is an alternative to Spring break, we'll take a long weekend in January or February.

I’ve been to Rome twice. Is it your first time? Do you think people who go to Disney aren’t also well traveled?
