Wedding gown ideas

I'm getting married in the Spring of 2026 and I'm looking for wedding dress ideas. I'm 53 years old, 5'5 and I weigh 120 pounds. This isn't my first wedding; I'm divorced with an 18 year old and a 20 year old. I would like something classy with a bit of lace, long, but age appropriate. Please give me some ideas.

Are you comfortable with sleeveless and/or strapless?
Budget?

Yes, I have toned arms and I'm comfortable with sleeveless or strapless. My budget is no more than $600.00.

Wow! Beautiful gowns and definitely some that I could wear, but unfortunately not in my price range. I was thinking around $600 or no more than $800. It will be a small wedding (around 35 guests).

Congratulations, OP, how exciting! I was looking for a very specific type of gown, and none of the nice brands had it, so I went to David's Bridal to find a gown I liked. It wasn't real silk, but for one day, I did not actually care. I believe their smaller sizes might work for you, and if not, they can make alterations.

I was out in Columbia MD a few months ago and there is a huge store selling second hand wedding dresses. It might be a haul from where you love but might be worth checking out.

Also look on the Real Real --they might have something that's not a wedding dress but wedding-ish.
