Linkedin posts top college ranking - justice for Babson and Bucknell LOL!

Who cares? LinkedIn is a joke.

this list is ... something

however all ranking lists are frustrating and unrealiable imo

we want and care about different things so who cares what's "best school" overall. I don't care about overall. I care about my own bespoke criteria.

Oh please.

So when they include the state schools, are they just ignoring the massive amount of grads in complete dead end jobs/useless majors? UT Austin is great, but the difference between a CS and College of Liberal arts grad is extreme.

yes there's this pipeline...

Babson is practically a vocational school. But it works for a certain kind of kid, so great. Bucknell is a traditional LAC with pretty solid outcomes, but certainly not top outcomes by any means.

Why is the formatting so bad? The "|"s stick out like a sore thumb - it's seems to me that someone just copied from chatGPT

UVA ranked 12th, higher than half the Ivy League and far and away the top public.

Notre Dame #8

Bucknell takes some much crap on this site it’s a shame - must be some bitter parents who’s kid didn’t get in, but it’s sad in many respects. Don’t see the majority of students or parents touting it as something other than what it is - a top LAC with a solid business majored/department that places well above its small stature. Wall street is full of Bucknell grads, and I’m saying that as a Cornell grad from the 80s. And the ones I know are more loyal than the small nescacs blah blah.

The ranking is built on exclusive LinkedIn data looking at career outcomes of alumni, such as job placement rates and advancement into senior-level positions, or how many alumni held an internship during their degree or started their own company post-grad.

Looks like it is a ranking of where people graduated from and where they ended up?

So nothing about the quality of education or facilities offered. A different pov.

And explains:

Babson: Business school that produces titles like: Director of ..., VP of ...
Caltech: tech school that produces more titles like: Senior or Principal Engineer than: Director/VP of ....

maybe for business schools this would mean something?

Linkedin has better data than the department of defense - this ranking should become the bible for outcomes - although the elitist ivy or bust DCUM-area private school parents shelling out six figures on college prep / advisors for that holy grail of college admission - the ivy acceptance - will disagree and never give a babaon or bucknell any props for outcomes
