MoCo County fair. Good or a disaster?

Never been to the county fair. I figured it *should* be a nice time, but knowing MoCo and all of the insanity that goes on in public schools, I just can't shake the suspicion that the county fair will devolve into a freakshow with tons of fights, shootings, open drug use and other shenanigans that will make it something you absolutely want to avoid with a family. Am I wrong? Worth going to?

+1. This is a very nice country and it’s a perfectly nice fair. If you think the county is a dumpster fire then you might not like the fair.

What is wrong with you? Of course it’s fine. I’ve taken my kids every year. Personally, I don’t like rowdy teens so I don’t hang out after hours…but wouldn’t anyways with my kids.

Yep. That happens every day at the fair. The worst of it happens in the baked goods tent. Best not to go.
