| Or, if it will be at all? Also will there be a flu shot? |
| I suspect they will be released a little later than usual as they had all those meeting delays. They are definitely coming though per my source at FDA. |
| Who knows? Everything at the FDA has slowed down because of the RIFs and people leaving for other jobs. |
I get that, but with school starting, and no word on the flu vaxx either, the implications for a double surge could be overwhelming. I was really hoping for at least Sept. Hope they get on it. |

I understood that the flu vaccine was approved, it takes about a year to produce do trump/rfk couldn’t stop that in time. The covid vaccine is a no-go. The old one is still available (from last year), but there is little hope of another updated one until 2029, thanks to trump. They’ve fired everyone who would approve it and set up redundant roadblocks to slow it down to a halt.
I’m still trying to figure out if I can get the one from last year without paying $150 or more out of pocket…is insurance covering it? I heard no. |
| Never. |
What do you mean by this? |
|
The flu shot will be available on a normal schedule.
https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/influenza-general/companies-start-flu-vaccine-shipments-ahead-2025-26-season Google and find specific info from a reliable source. Do not just read headlines in The NY Times about what a chump RFK Jr is and assume. (Not saying the man is not an idiot.) |

Who the vaccine is recommended for changed (now aligns with WHO recommendations) but appears an updated shot will be available. |
Come on now. There’s no evidence of that. There have been no “surges” to overwhelm medical facilities since 2020. Im immune compromised and my doc is not recommending the COVID vax, but just flu and pneumonia. |
There's literally a surge right now. There was a surge of flu and Covid this year and last. And, no it wasn't 2020 that overwhelmed hospitals, it was 2021 and 2022. And yes, there are still Covid deaths. |
But when? |
It says Fall. That's not September. It may not even be October |
Your definition of surge is… skewed? No hospitals are overwhelmed by COVID. There are also flu deaths every year. You’re either a fearmonger or have health anxiety. |
Relax. |
