| Help out a clueless mom and an noncommittal kid. What is the cool/practical/durable backpack for tween girls? |
| Mine's using last year's version of this: https://www.landsend.com/products/kids-classmate-backpacks/id_393365?attributes=8833,43321,43376,44151,44623 Northface also makes great backpacks that are more durable but also bigger. |
| One of the swag backpacks hanging in our closet. Nobody cares. |
| We've had good luck with North Face and Arcteryx for comfort and durability. |
Yeah, totally how tween girls think
Mine wanted a specific jansport. Pretty basic style but color was important to her. |
| Lululemon |
| My tween requested Jansport |
|
Wide enough for the chrome book and a few binders and a deep and stretch water bottle holder on the side.
Must be water proof too. |
Lands End is just cruel to buy for a tween. North Face or plain old Jansport. |
|
Teen DD and many of her friends are using Vera Bradley. I don’t understand this and strongly urged her to get a different brand but was told I was out of style, which is probably correct.
I think Jansport or North Face or any plain sporty looking one is always safe. |
The OP did not specify gender. |
Op uses the phrase “tween girls.” Mine has used the North Face Jester for two years (6th and 7th). She really has to shove everything in there - it’s a tight fit. |
+1. This will be year two of the backpack for my tween girl. It's a great backpack. |
| My 7th grader has had the same solid color LL Bean backpack since 4th grade and still loves it. We wash it twice a year and it still looks brand new. A lot of kids in her school have the same one. |
NP. Why? |
