Gaza War, Part 3

How would you react if a nation referred to the killing of your families as mowing the lawn? This expression has been said for years by Israel’s public officials .

Imagine not wanting a two state solution of the same state you have already simply because you want a Biblical Judea and Samaria . The religious fanatics run Israel 100% and have absolutely zero interest in a two state solution . The death of Rabin was by a Jewish religious extremist .

No Palestinian politician was assassinated for recognizing Israel’s right to exist and a two state solution despite a two state solution meaning Palestine loses 70% of its old land

Biden will lose the election because of Israel. Blinken is toast and is probably looking at Israel for positioning after the election.

20% of Israel’s population are Palestinians who agreed to their own identity erasure and being called “Israeli Arabs” instead.

The majority of Palestinians live in the West Bank and a large sum even go to work in Israel every day despite harassment from settlers who are allowed to steal the ever- tinier parcels of Palestinian crops, land, and water in the West Bank.

Israel does not make life easy for Palestinians despite Palestinians trying their best to appease Israel by accepting two state solution and even accepting becoming Israeli citizens or Israeli workers.

It’s actually when they become less nice or become terrorists, that Israel gives in and becomes gracious. Hamas leaders are billionaires with their bellies and bank accounts full. They live excellent lives in Qatari hotels without any worry of getting their home firebombed or shelled by Israeli military or settlers .

A farmer in the West Bank is not legally protected by IDF or under Israeli courts if the assailant is Jewish. Palestinian police are banned from touching or intervening any Jewish person from doing what they want.

If the police don’t work, what force should Palestinians use to stop Israeli settlements and aggression?

Israel is teaching Palestinians that peace does not work and being nice is being weak and inviting Israelis or IDF to their home.

The terrorists seemingly never get bothered by Israel or the IDF as much as civilian Palestinians . They even get released from jail.

Israel should use this war to be self correcting and self reflecting because whatever methods they’ve used have failed miserably.

It’s about to go down in the coming hours and days, at least that is how the media is selling it. The descendants Xerxes are up to something. This time feels different. This is going to brew into something bigger. I guess it all depends on where Iran attacks from and how they do it. Russia and China are eagerly waiting in the wings.

Iran isn’t going to attack Israel. It doesn’t need to. Israel is already weakened and looks worse if Iran does nothing

Israel is deflecting to Iran because the situation In Gaza has become unwinnable as hostages and Hamas are unfortunately unable to retrieve . Iran is a deflection tactic . If they were any serious, they would’ve struck Qatar . But it’s amateur hour with Israel per usual and we have to play the mom getting her kids to stop fighting each other and learn to play nice

Yes it’s all out in the open now. We see it for what it (repugnantly) is. If Biden drags the US into war to “defend” Israel (note how none of the US media is mentioning how Israel struck first) we will be in a full revolution in 12 months. The under 45’s are NOT having it.

I seriously would like to hear from an Israeli supporter why they won’t allow shipments of painkillers into the territory?

Because Hamas takes the anesthesia and sells it for recreational use to fund their terrorist actions, leaving the innocent Palestinians who are injured with nothing, and enriching Hamas.

Yet prior to 10/7 Gaza had a functioning network of hospitals that provided comprehensive services to the population including surgeries. Is it your position that Hamas always did it or is this a recent fantasy of yours?

It’s kind of messed up that Israel feels entitled to strike targets in Iran and then Iran is called an aggressor and a criminal if they retaliate. What would the US do if another country hit an embassy in the US?

On December 30, 2022, the Saudi news website Elaph cited a “knowledgeable Palestinian source” saying that Haniyeh’s son Maaz, known in Gaza as Abu Al-Iqarat, or “The Father of Real Estate,” obtained a Turkish passport, which allowed him to easily exit Gaza and travel abroad, and invest in properties in Turkey.

The article further claimed that Maaz, and other sons of the Haniyeh family, drink alcohol abroad and spend time with women other than their wives in luxury nightclubs. Elaph also reported that Haniyeh’s children own generators, and sell electricity, a rare commodity in an area under constant power shortages, while they themselves get it for free.

In July 2022, a document was shared on Palestinian social media showing an official list of travelers who had been given permission to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing. Among the names was Haniyeh’s son Hazem, along with his wife and two children, who left Gaza to join other members of the Haniya family in Turkey.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have disclosed documents showcasing substantial luxury jewelry purchases made by Maaz Ismaïl Haniyeh, the son of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh.

The receipts, unearthed during Israeli ground operations in the Gaza Strip, outline purchases amounting to thousands of dollars, shedding light on the disparity between Gaza residents and the leadership of Hamas.

Each bill's value equates to nearly two years' worth of salary for an average Gazan, whose monthly income hovers around 1,200 shekels, roughly 300 dollars. This revelation underscores a stark contrast, given Gaza's high unemployment rate of 45 percent.

The discovered receipts, totaling five in number, detail luxury jewelry acquisitions in Gaza Strip and Qatar jewelry stores attributed to Maaz Ismaïl Haniyeh.

This revelation follows recent reports from the Israeli embassy in the United States, alleging luxurious living and substantial wealth, estimated at billions of dollars, by senior Hamas figures.

I have no doubt that they were hypocritical horrible human beings. That doesn't mean that it was a good idea to assasinate them, and their children, in the midst of negotiations with their father to return the hostages and deescalate.

If you want to save the hostages then assasinating the sons of one of the main negotiatiors is a really bad choice.

They were Hamas.

Israel will not, cannot, and should not find long term peace until every last member of Hamas is buried or rotting in an Israeli prison never to so much as catch a glimpse of the sun. Sure, take a day to too ceasefire to bring home what few hostages, but do not let that get in the way of the goal: the destruction of Hamas. Any well meaning Jew would sacrifice any ceasefire for such glorious a day.

This is bloodthirsty, culturally narcissistic, and counter-productive. Hamas includes a spectrum of people with different views, and some are more moderate than some Zionists. There really isn't much difference between the two, except that Palestinians have a stronger claim on the land, which was stolen from them during the Nakba. Zionists want a Jewish state; Hamas wants an Islamic state. Both sides are racist. Your desire to exterminate everyone associated with Hamas is equivalent to the wish to exterminate everyone associated with Zionism. If it's acceptable for the IDF to kill a Hamas member's children and grandchildren, then you have to accept that it is equally acceptable to kill Zionists' children and grandchildren. To do otherwise would indicate ethno-supremacism. When Israel stoops to killing the grandchildren of Hamas members, it sets a dangerous precedent that makes 10/7 equally acceptable. And, of course, the process only generates more scarred, traumatized children on both sides who are going to grow up angry, unstable, and looking for revenge.

A more productive path forward would be to treat all life as equal, precious, and worthy of respect. Gratuitous slaughter, whether by bombs, guns, or starvation, is only going to inflame further and destabilize the situation. It's akin to the philosophy of "the floggings will continue until morale improves." The current escalating cycle of violent retribution has not worked in the past and won't work now. It will only create more bitterness, hatred, and desire for revenge. Someone needs to step up and be the adult, and it's not going to be Sinwar, Bibi, Smotrich, or Ben-Gvir. Maybe it'll be Biden ... or Xi. I don't know ...

I bet you recently read Bin Laden’s letter to America and agreed with it too right?

A stunningly absurd response. In the absence of meaningful responses, this is what the pro-Israel crowd has to resort to.
