Goverment Shutdown OCTOBER 2025

October 1st will be here before we know it. Congress will go Summer Vacations soon, and they will come back to work in September what are the chances we have a Government Showdown this year? Will they get a budget pass with 50 votes?

The best thing we could do is to shut it down for three years or so.

When the government shuts down, it is always because of the GOP. In controlling the House, senate and white house, if it shuts down, they should all be removed without question.

People said it was definitely shutting down last December, then definitely in March, then they always make a deal at the last minute.

BBB is not the same as the annual appropriations bills that fund the government. BBB did have some appropriations in it for certain things like ICE, etc. but those are supplemental to the 12 annual bills that fund the agencies.
