Ex husband, who I had regular sex with, told me he fantasized about being with men. As openminded as I am (lots of friends who are gay/lesbian) this was a big surprise. We had been together for over 10 years, unhappily on my end.
I assume he was/is bi. Wondering how common this is amongst “straight” men. |
No . Never. |
Ex casual bf. He had already slept with a man but swore he wasn't gay. His nightstand told me otherwise. |
He is bisexual. And PP, your boyfriend wasn't gay. He was also bisexual.
|
Never. |
Seems I read around 10% have fantasized about it in most surveys, and around 5% experimented. Around 1-2% genuinely gay. |
Only beating the crap out of other men. |
Or gay and in denial. that happens too. |
A lot of “straight” men are on the down low. An actual straight man doesn’t fantasize about other men - that’s not how it works. |

No. Never. We are very open and talk about everything without judgment. |
Barack Obama did so 🤷🏼♀️
He wrote about it to letters to his ex-gf from his Oberlin days. |
Variety of surveys through time put the number of gay men around 5%, though of course probably higher in large cities. If you are asking about how many men have fantasized? 1 in 5 or 20%. How many men have gone through and explored? 15% seems a reasonable estimate. How do I know? I am a bisexual man who is more into guys and the stereotypical "you would never guess" person. There are way more married down low guys than most would think. |
No, and if he did it would be bye bye. |
Friend and I had sex with a woman at the same time, we didn’t touch each other except for brushing arms or legs. It was 20 years ago and was the closest I ever go to bi, still top 5 in the spank bank. |
