Inspired by the "Boston University Guaranteed Transfer" post ( https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/15/1264907.page ) which included this lovely photo of a transfer dorm room (linked below), which colleges have the worst dorms? Photos welcomed.

Jesus Christ. The Saddam Hussein bunker had a nicer bathroom than that. I'm not saying every college needs to be High Point, but no education is worth having to live in filth. |
Harvard freshmen dorms are lovely from the outside - charming quad! - but disgusting on the inside. Mold, roaches, mice. |
It must be quite a shock going from wealth and luxury to Harvard dorm rooms |
Good for building character |
Yeah I don't see an issue with gross dorms. It is a rite of passage and helps the kids bond. |
BU has nice facilities. Even brownstone! And renovations have happened including entire buildings. But somebody's gotta troll. |
Tulane Monroe, freshman only. |
The academic elite often have the worst dorms and food. I think because that don’t need fancy rooms and gourmet food and lazy rivers to lure students to enroll. People would kill to go to these places. |

Dorms have gotten too nice.
I don’t think there should be filth, pests, and vermin but a college student doesn’t need a juice bar and sushi chef in their dorm building. |
I kinda want a lazy river...sign me up! |
What are UCLA dorms like? They didn’t show any dorms on the tour. We liked the UCLA vibe…until they mentioned housing. Triples “guaranteed” all four years. |
The Ivy dorms are nothing to write home about. |
