Any coverage of local protests yet?

The Leisure World protest was loud and proud with lots of cars honking their support.

They deleted my question about same thing.

Falls Church was really well attended! Great signs and atmosphere. And lots of honking.

Lots of people along certain parts of Rockville Pike. Good signs, lots of honking. No issues I saw or heard of.

Why are the protestors overwhelmingly older (most seemed to be 50+) and white? I did not see many younger protestors (like college aged) along Rockville Pike. We know that age is most prone to protesting so where were they? I hope the college kids who are so hell-bent on protesting Israel and causing mayhem on college campuses would also attend these protests - to protest a cause that has more direct impact on their lives. I just didn't see them along Rockville Pike or other pictures I'm seeing from other protests.

Where were Hispanic people and black people? We know they do protests - why weren't they at this one in large numbers? Hispanics, I understand but why wasn't there a larger amount of black people protesting? Autocracy effects them just as much.

This was posted on Instagram about an hour ago. Peaceful protest near the White House walking down what used to be called BLM way.

A friend in NOVA just sent me a text with a video of a group of no kings protesters on a pedestrian bridge over a highway – – 66 I think. They were holding up their signs and a lot of drivers were honking in support.

You’re joking right? You’re wondering why minorities might avoid showing up to protests when ICE is indiscriminately arresting people with no regard for their status in the country?

I said I understand why Hispanics wouldn't come out.

There were some younger people at the protest on Rockville Pike. Morning protests aren't going to bring out a ton of younger people.

From what I have seen, black and Hispanic people are standing back and white people are taking the lead, because white people are less likely to be brutalized by the police.

There's tons of footage and photos of the No Kings marches all over my social media feeds. Some of you must live in a complete vacuum.

Someone's drove a car into the protest in Culpeper. He is in custody. No injuries, thankfully.
