Last three half days, who is going?

My kids are telling me no one is going and teachers said it’s fine to skip. Is anyone going tomorrow and next week? Is it an unexcused absence if they don’t go?

Both my kids are (ES and MS). I held off on putting them in camps that week given the frequency of snow days this year. Some of their friends will be gone, but they seem happy to have the few last days to close out the year.

High school DD decided today was her last day, and from BCC's behavior, it appears that they're not anticipating much attendance after today: they gave out library books that the media center didn't want, and there was generally a festive atmosphere when I drove to pick her up.

Going as we have one hs teacher still giving assignments

My 2nd grader is going. I cancelled camp next week because it was full price for 2 days (sending them to school instead).

Going tomorrow, not next week because we have a camp we paid for already.

Yep going, no reason to sit in the house, plus I have to work.
even if no teaching, kid will have fun with friends at school, signing yearbooks, eating lunch, etc

Me—I’m a teacher 🤣

Told my teens they don’t have to go if they don’t want to.

My ES kid is going but almost all of her friends will be at already-booked camps on Monday and Tuesday. (I haven't heard about anyone skipping tomorrow though, I would expect near-normal attendance.)

My high schoolers are going tomorrow, but not next week. It’s really more so they can hang out with friends tomorrow afternoon, after dismissal.
