Any chance we'll hear back about AAP appeal by May 31?

| What do you think? (I realize no one knows...just wondering). AAP appeal website says a final decision letter will be sent by May 31, 2025. The email confirmation says "A final decision letter will be sent by email on June 5, 2025." I'm guessing one or the other is a carry over of the timeline from last year. |

| Thanks for asking this question. This day 2 years ago we got the part-time AAP decision, then we got the full-time appeals eligibility 11 days later for our older child. We have not heard about part-time yet for our younger child (not sure if others got a decision on that yet - I don't think if it was a "no" we would be notified). Based on our prior experience, I would be surprised if they released the appeals decisions so close to, or before, part-time decisions. But I only have 1 datapoint. |

| Last year, we got the part time decision in May before the appeal result. The appeal result came the day after the given release date, in June. If the appeal is successful, you can accept both, the level 4 selection would override the level 2/3 placement. |

| I was thinking the same thing. I emailed the aap center to ask the same question. I will post it here if I ever hear back from them. Hopefully it is 31st. It's kind of odd that they have 2 dates. |

| I got part-time aap email this morning which I have not accepted for waiting appeal result to come out, and I am pretty sure it will be emailed on 6/5 as written in notificaion of packet receipt; I’ve done appeal for my first one as well two years ago, and we got an email on exact date they’ve specified seperately(different from what’s posted website) |

Thanks for doing that! I was thinking about it but assumed a lot of others were probably doing the same and didn't want to bother them. Let us know!

Why not accept the part-time? The full-time acceptance should override it if that also comes through. |

| Agree. We accepted part-time then accepted the full-time when it arrived. It was a non-issue. |

But we were offered part-time service, and the part-time service email came in at 3pm. |

| Not in. We did everything. Process is completely opaque. No idea what they consider , kids with lower scores got in and we got denied. |
