| If you drink wine every night do you get drunk faster? |
| No, quite the opposite. You develop a tolerance and it takes more to get drunk. |
| What’s wrong with drinking a glass of wine with dinner? |
| You don’t see posts like this in Europe. Americans are puritanical morons. |
| It made me bloated and tired. |
| You get fat. |
It has nothing to do with puritanism. Have fun with lover failure due to daily booze consumption. Alcohol associated liver failure is worse in Europe than the US for a reason. We need to stop with the stupid message that alcohol is healthy. No amount of alcohol consumption is safe or healthy. A glass of wine is not going to extend your lifespan. All it does is increase your risk for developing a bad habit and addiction. |
I'm not looking to extend my life. I'm looking to make it as pleasant as possible. Hopefully, far away from people like you. |
Spoken like an alcoholic. |

Following is the advice from WHO. Read between the lines. There simply isn’t evidence that all levels of drinking alcohol are ‘bad’. It’s interesting that they set the threshold for light or moderate drinking at 1.5 litres of wine per week - that’s two bottles!
- The available data indicate that half of all alcohol-attributable cancers in the WHO European Region are caused by “light” and “moderate” alcohol consumption – less than 1.5 litres of wine or less than 3.5 litres of beer or less than 450 millilitres of spirits per week. - There are no studies that would demonstrate that the potential beneficial effects of light and moderate drinking on cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes outweigh the cancer risk associated with these same levels of alcohol consumption for individual consumers. - Currently available evidence cannot indicate the existence of a threshold at which the carcinogenic effects of alcohol “switch on” and start to manifest in the human body. |
why are you worried about what I do? Worry about your own self.
|
Well, study after study after study shows alcohol (no matter the dose) is a carcinogen. This has nothing to do with being puritanical. |
And more studies are coming out showing that alcohol is harmful to overall health. |

Do your children know about your alcohol addiction? |
