I am buying a car and one of the most important things I am looking for is being able to drive it long distances without killing my legs or back or butt. Not something you can figure out on a short test drive. What do you recommend? |
I asked this before and the principal answer was “not a jeep.” |
Lexus because it's firm but squishy and very quiet |
I came on here to say Lexus. But PP did it first. So comfortable. |
Any Lexus or a specific model? |
Our jeep wrangler is very comfortable. |
For me, nothing smaller than a mid size SUV. I'm 6ft and have long legs. |
I think this is a pretty common thing with Lexuses (Lexi?) but I have a Lexus GX460 |
I routinely drive a Jeep Wrangler from Bethesda to Big Torch Key, FL, only stops for fuel and food. 1,173 miles, 19 hours. I do this every couple months, and have since 2016. |
Porsche Macan. Also greatly reduces driving fatigue. |
Anything. I've driven all different types for four hours or more, and never been uncomfortable. |
This might have referred only to Wranglers. I have a Grand Cherokee L which I drive for three hours up and back almost every weekend and it’s extremely comfortable. |
Unused to ride a sport bike between Atlanta and Orlando. I thought it was fine at the time. It's not actually something I'd recommend as comfortable to most people, and neither is a Wrangler. |
I could drive anything for 2 hours. 4 plus is where I start to want to have nicer seats. |
Lexus RX350. Seats are so comfortable. NOT Subaru. |
