It’s not the coach. It was always going to be a rebuilding year for the team losing all those starters. They actually over performed based on expectations this season. Madison is just that good.

There is no such thing as classless scores against Yorktown. The attitude from player and parents over the past decade supports all scoring at all times. Ask any other HS in the state. People love to beat Madison too, but EVERYBODY loves to beat Yorktown!

It’s true. Yorktown lacked class for years under the previous coach. This coach will help change that culture but it’s hard to hear Yorktown complaining about class with the history of constantly complaining to the refs and playing dirty. This year I didn’t see any of that from this team but it’s hard to shake the history and reputation.

I'm not a YT fan or parent, but I disagree with this take. In previous seasons (I don't know about this one), YT would always pass the ball around for minutes at a time before running an actual play if they were up by a lot. I didn't see that from Madison this season.
