So to sum is all up, the 8 teams in Class 6 to make states are:

Region A: Cosby, Landstown
Region B: Battlefield, Mountain View
Region C: Robinson, West Springfield
Region D: Madison, Westfield

Cosby and Battlefield have won their regions, and Region C will be determined tonight and Region D tomorrow. That will set final seedings/matchups for the state tournament starting Friday.

I think this is the first time West Springfield has made the state tournament ever, or at least in a long time. I'm not sure they ever made it under Coach Puhlick. We had been hearing from WS parents on our DD's club team that they had been disappointed and felt the team was underperforming under the new coaching staff the last couple of years. I guess they figured something out, so kudos to them for getting it done when it counts.
