| We have a father of a U15 boy who is out of control. He watches and even films practices, calls other players cell phones, bugs the coaches nonstop about how he thinks the team could be handled, and attends matches of teams with whom his kid has no affiliation. Its concerning. What is the best way to address? |
| Let that dad coooooooook. |
| Coach’s job to handle this. |
| Not your problem coaches problem |
|
We had drunk parents
Parents arrested Parents who lived through each game like they were playing It’s horrible HS coaches who think they are good |
|
How is he calling other players?
If he’s calling your kid block the number. Otherwise this has nothing to do with you. Yes it’s extra, but focus your attention elsewhere. |
| Coach and Club should be responsible. There are also applicable restrictions in place by the governing soccer body for your club and some of the contact with players sounds like a potential SafeSport violation. |
| This could be a Lifetime movie |
| Do you see this more at upper level travel teams or at what level? |
| Why do you spend so much time noticing and thinking about what he is doing? There are people like this everywhere. Ignore it and live your own life. |
| I’m always curious how these types of people function in their day jobs and function in society in general. |

Hand him a coaching application and or the link to get his coaching license.

I can only imagine what his wife & kids must live through... |
Pure hell for the kids, we have 2 parents torturing their kids at every practice and game by being overly invested. Making them cry quite often. It's like watching a slow motion train wreck. The coach has sent to e-mails to these doofus dads and had to ban 1 dad out for the week. |
