I know a few Canadians, many of whom are snowbirds, and they seem to be not quite there to "dead to us"yet. More like "that place is a toxic waste dump and we'll wait to see if they clean it up."

Dead to us or toxic waste dump, travel to the US is down and likely to stay that way until the Orange toddler either dies, or his term is over.

I was in the Bahamas last week and there were some Canadian grandparents with their grandchildren. They said their yearly Florida trips are over and they are far from alone.

Gosh! Isn’t it a shame that the Republicans didn’t bother to think through the very likely fallout when Trump threatened Canada and started playing around with tariffs. Oh well.

I know a lot of Canadians and, literally without exception, they are not traveling to the US this summer or for the foreseeable future other than for family visits/events. No Disney, no tourism in NYC, no national parks, no skiing in the winter, no cruises leaving from US ports. The national parks one is huge BTW - the big parks get a ton of foreign visitors. Not just Canadians but from all over the world, and park tourism from foreign visitors brings in loads of tourism dollars.
