Women’s fertility declines so most women would want to have babies ages 25-35. I had 3 kids ages 30-38.
What do you think is the ideal age for men? |
| 22 |
| 28-35 |
| The ideal age is when a man is ready to be a good partner and father. Any older than 50 is not ideal. |
| I became a father at 32, and in retrospect I wish it had been sooner. I'd say 26-30. |
| 20's for both men and women. |
| There is no generalized ideal time, it’s so individual. |
| 19 |
Ideally, in their 30s. But anywhere between 18 and 80 is fine really, if they are good genetic material. |
Depends on their health. Sperm is created daily in a man, and is never older than 30 days old roughly, so age doesn't matter in regards to healthy sperm. The only downside is older men produce less sperm, so might be harder to get pregnant from a 80+ year old man. However many factors reduce a man's sperm count and motility, such as physical fitness, genetics, and drug/alcohol abuse. |
Not until peri-menopause or later, unless there are health issues such as PCOS or obesity. Obesity is the #1 reason some women have trouble getting pregnant. The quality of a woman's eggs depends on her genetics, and lifestyle. A woman is birthed with all the eggs she will ever have, and every drug, cigarette, enviro-toxin, prescription drug, poor diet and other abuse she encounters, lowers the quality of those eggs. As long as a woman has a regular period, and nothing wrong with her womb overall, she will have healthy offspring until menopause. Both my grandmothers had their last kids in their mid to late 40s. Mother in her mid 40s. But large families are common from my parent's culture. |
| My DH was 31 but wishes he were older (that means he wanted to have more money). I think it was a good age and he will LOVE being a healthy, young-ish empty nester. |

Around 30
Earlier if financially stable in their 20’s. |
| 45 |
Not trying to be a killjoy but the nest empties and if your parents are still alive you can slide right into caregiving for seniors. |
