In Park Potomac.
They gave me cold food and coffee. So gross, do they just defrost frozen food and serve you? The place was packed, why do people like it ? I was there visiting a friend. |
| They’ve gone super down hill. I haven’t been in years because of a similar experience but it still rides on its reputation from years ago…: |
| I had a horrible meal there pre covid (tyson's location) but recently went back and food and service were good. |

You answered you own question. The place was packed, they went buy the tickets, your food had got gold once they found your order among the 100. Not sure how their system works.
The food sits under the heater, but it's not enough. I go early or late brunch/dinner. |

It has never been good. None of them have. Why there are so many, and people still go, is an enduring mystery.

| I haven't been there in years. I've heard the Sunday buffet is still good, though. |

I have always disliked Founding Farmers and laughed about Sietsema’s utter hatred of the place.
But I had brunch at one of them in VA a few months ago, and it was good. Definitely not great. But not bad either. |
| it’s terrible. One of those places that I swear people just say is good even though they know it’s not. It’s always rec’d in the travel groups when people say they are going to DC-of all the places I truly don’t understand. Their food is either terrible, passable, mediocre and on a very rare occasion “ok”. |
| I’ve been there about a dozen times for business lunches and dinners and never understood the appeal, but clearly many others do. |
| I can say without question that it is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. |
|
Actually think it’s like a chronic disease to hate founding farmers people …take such pride in hating it. It’s weird.
I love their cucumber, melon drink. |
| Yuck I'm sorry. Why would you waste your money and time there? |
| It’s a question that has been asked here regularly over the past years. Not sure why you are surprised or what you expected. |
Tom Sietsema was right. |

I can't stand noisy restaurants, so every time I pass by the Foggy Bottom location, I wonder that so many people can eat there and like it.
