Speaking as someone who had a family member murdered, if it would bring back my brother, fine, but. It doesn't. Life in prison without the possibility of parole is a far worse punishment.

Who cares honestly. This guy beat his In-laws parents to death with baseball bat. I don’t particularly care if this persons death painful barbaric. They should have thought about that before they beat two peoplwto death with a baseball bat. Dems really need to just be quiet about this one. Most Americans are supportive of the death penalty for murderers. Don't die on a hill over fringe issues that imapct very few people, but alienate large numbers of voters.
