That article says she had just recently had a liver transplant so might be complication related.
I also saw some articles / posts from a year or two ago about how sickly she looked so she may have been ill for a long time. |

I am really shocked because to me she is one of these familiar faces I grew up with, especially with Buffy, but I hadn't seen her in anything in a few years. I looked back at pics of her at various events and she had been walking on and off with a cane for many years, with major fluctuations in weight and appearance. It is so sad. |

Most common reasons for transplant are severe alcoholism or hepatitis C (although good medication for that now). |
