Amazingly, JPost covered that but skipped the part about is brother working at JPost! https://www.jpost.com/international/article-898906 |
What we keep telling you is that most people in Maine are not wildly troubled by his flaws. He’s got plenty of support here at home. It’s everyone else who won’t drop it. |
Yes. I find all of this highly amusing considering many Trump voters said they voted for Trump ONLY because of the issues, and in spite of his awful character. Democrats piously slammed that explanation and painted all Republicans as nasty people because of their decision to vote for the issues rather than the person. Here we have Democrats doing EXACTLY the same thing. They want a Democrat, so that's who they're voting for regardless of this dude's repulsive history. So I'll just laugh the next time some idiot criticizes the people who voted for Trump. The left has proven (yet again) what utter hypocrites they are. |
That you think this is a reason to disbelieve Platner's ex-girlfriend simply reflects on you. "Believe all women," my a$$. |
Platner is not running for president. As flawed a human being as he may be, his election in a state primary does not have the disastrous worldwide negative consequences that Trump’s election to the US presidency has had and will continue to have. |
Nope. He wasn't a scholarship student and again, there is zero evidence that he was. You're making the claim, so you provide the evidence. I don't care what he's "said." He also lied about the reason he went to Hotchkiss, claiming his local school wasn't accredited anymore. He's a complete fraud. Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner’s hometown high school never lost its accreditation, contrary to a claim that the progressive once made to explain why he attended private institutions. Platner said on an October podcast that Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan was unaccredited around 1999, leading his parents to send him briefly to the upscale Hotchkiss School in Connecticut and later to John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor. But Sumner has been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges since 1987, the group said. https://themainemonitor.org/graham-platner-private-schooling-claim-not-true/ |
Oh, poor little you. Whenever you're met with posters you want to silence, just accuse them of being from a "troll farm." You are a complete moron to believe anything this revolting person says. But, it's not surprising that you do. |
DP. I'm quite sure that you'd be applauding your hometown newspaper on their scathing pieces if Platner was a Republican.
|
+1 How the PP can't recognize this is astounding. Surely there were other possible candidates? |
DP. In what way? All of the things in the PP have been widely reported. Are you trying desperately to rewrite the narrative here? |
Oh, absolutely. It's comical. |
Indeed, but this thread isn't about Trump. It's about the gross guy in Maine. |
Sure. You can keep saying that but we all know that if this guy was a Republican, you'd be cheering on all the reports of his sordid background. So let's just stop the hypocrisy, shall we? |
No doubt there were. But there were also plenty of candidates when Trump first ran in a republican primary. It didn’t make any difference. Apparently populists are very attractive to some voters, whether they’re on the left or the right. |
