If you had a family business, you would be want to keep as much in the family as possible. First, he began working on the water as a shellfisherman in 2018, not 2025 as you erroneously stated. And second, according to Google, he sells to restaurants other than his mother's. Maine Senate candidate and oysterman Graham Platner sells his oysters locally rather than shipping them out. His primary customer is the Ironbound Restaurant and Inn in Hancock, Maine, which is owned by his mother. He has also occasionally supplied a few other select Downeast Maine retailers, including traveling raw bars like Jolie Rogers Raw Bar and the Frenchman Bay Oyster Company itself. Information courtesy of a quick Google search.

He attended a prep school for one semester. Why do you keep harping on that, it makes absolutely no sense. You make is sound like a crime to send your kid to a good school, which is utterly weird coming from a DCUM crowd.

I don't care about his sexting, that's between him and his wife. Isn't that what Republicans have been saying for decades about their candidates infidelity issues? I have not read or heard anything about him engaging with minors, but based on the other falsehoods you've posted, I'm skeptical. What do you think about the 13-year-old who gave a deposition accusing Trump of raping her? Or the new Epstein files that just revealed that Trump knew that Epstein was using Maralago as sexual trafficking?

Said very bad things about other soldiers. The POTUS told a grieving wife that her husband knew what he signed up for. He told a Gold Star father that military people were losers and suckers. He told John McCain that he did not like soldiers who got captured. They were losers.

He is not a politician by trade or nature. He has made too many mistakes to be a politician. Give him a couple of election cycles, and he will be polished and FOS just like all the rest.

As to prep school, he was also on scholarship. And that takes guts. As someone who went to private school on scholarship (not a bougie one but still private), and had to work in the kitchen, I understand what that takes. Do you (poster above this one)?

He does not take AIPAC money. He's one of the few US politicians who doesn't. And he's been openly critical of Israel's genocide. I don't think his Jewish heritage makes him supportive of Israel's atrocities. Mine sure doesn't.

I don’t disagree and fwiw I would have happily voted for him if I lived in Maine. I don’t. But I find the attacks on him very troubling, including those from my hometown newspaper that sees fit to publishing a scathing piece on him almost every day for the last several weeks. You’d think he was more important than the president himself.

Many people wish that Republicans would’ve chosen someone other than Trump from the large field of presidential candidates in the Republican primary when Trump first ran. But here we are.
