Anyone hearing whether WMATA is thinking about scheduling changes in light of RTO? My bus runs on a very limited schedule, and is now filling up very fast—we’re going to need an expanded schedule. I expect I’m not the only one on a line like that. Is anyone hearing whether changes might be coming?

The budget is already set in stone. Changes in routes will require additional funding.

I wish. I am going to have to take leave in the afternoon due to the limited bus routes through the end of the school year, if I can make it that long. Might have to quit which is ridiculous.

They are doing them now, you should weigh in on their website and with your elected representatives.

Any idea where/how to do this on their website? Is it just the customer comment form?

Look at Better Bus on the WMATA website. The route restructure started at the end of 2023 and approved by the board a few months ago.

It’s always good to provide comments but I think at this point the new routes have been finalized.
