| This is crazy. $8 a dozen regular eggs at Giant today. Insane! |
| I wonder when eggs will be great again. |
| Just another thing frump messed up |
| Stop buying them there. Find a local source. I have never paid over $4 for a dozen eggs. I would just buy chickens if they cost $8 |
| Theres a massive bird flu outbreak that is also causing pricing to go up. But guess what? HHS cant report on it because of the no external comms ban |
I’ll support MEGA instead of MAGA |
|
uh, $3.69 a dozen at my Giant. I just went and confirmed. |
Tell me which location so I can visit. Both Giants near me in Fairfax are $8/dozen. |
| It's been this way for a long time unless you buy the cheapest ones, which might be in low supply due to bird flu outbreak. |
| Regular eggs are not $8 a dozen at Giant. And You can get pasture raised Whole Foods brand for under $6. Nice try |
| They were less than $5 at Aldi earlier today. |
| I was told eggs would be cheaper on day one. |
| This begs the question in Fairfax County - why do they bend over backwards to give zoning exceptions for rich commercial real estate investors to suck every possible penny out of land, but the commoners can't simply save $8/dozen for eggs with a chicken coops in their yard, and can't grow vegetables within 15 feet of front curb. We need chickens and gardens, food is expensive. I want to use my land to make the most cash too. And why can't my neighbor sell cupcakes or egg rolls. Clown world. |
| I understand the bird flu, but why haven’t chicken prices gone crazy? |
