Or maybe your philosophy? Mine include:
— Do the things. Always do all the things. — Know what you don’t know. And try to surround yourself with people who do. — Always eat desert first. |
| Keep your expectations low and you’ll never be disappointed. |
| Tomorrow is another day. |
| Do the hard things first. |
| Life is short. |
|
Everything has an end, both good things and bad things.
|
| Nothin' What's-a-motto with you? |
|
Live your values.
|
| Don't be an a**hole. |
| Listen to your nags. |
| When traveling, do what you want to do the most first, and the rest is gravy. |
|
-Own every second that this life can give (yes adapted from a song)
-You can't change the past so don't get bogged down with regrets -Don't sweat the small things (probably my biggest one) -You never know what someone else is going through. Treat people with grace. |

Well, the ones on my thousand year old family crest say, in Latin:
"The stronger is crowned", and "Strength is the way". And the battle cry is "Stand firm, (family name)". Because in the year 900 or so, they needed battle cries. The genes must be quite diluted by now, because I feel distinctly intimidated by all this veneration of strength, whether it's physical or mental. |

It’s always right to do right.
Trust your gut. Be kind. |

You will always miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
