Sorry no that is not a term used in common households. What an insult to say someone has dishwater hair color? Are you serious? It's an insult. Yes heard of dirty blonde or dark blonde but no not dishwater. It's like saying you have bathwater color hair or skin? Seriously? |
Weird that a term you never heard of before this thread is now not commonly said and/or insulting. Bored today? |
"Raspberry Parade" is not a song just because a lot of kids think those are the lyrics. |

My daughter thought the name Penelope was pronounced Pen-uh-lope until sixth grade. She was absolutely shocked when she learned the correct pronunciation while watching an old movie, I think Pippi Longstocking or Dr. Dolittle. I digress. The point is, being wrong about something doesn't make it a thing. Pen-uh-lope is not a thing.
Dishwater is a thing Ditchwater is not a thing |
Ha i did that with Calliope. Thought it was calley-ope, with the ope said like nope. That doesn’t make it a thing. |
| We always called it mop water or mousy blonde |
Good grief. Millions of "white people" with olive skin. Go away. |
Yeah, I've not met an asian person anywhere who is offended by the term almond shaped eyes. The vast majority of us see that term as either a nuetral or a compliment. We just don't get offended like the internet trolls like to on our behalf. |
Exactly. I cannot imagine the person getting so offended by this is actually asian or knows asian women bryond casual relationships. |
Hey! You a slurring the trailer parks. No one from the trailer parks calls it ditchwater, unless they are referring to actual ditches. |
Ditchwater blonde is the new fetch. |
And is Neutron Dance not Noontime Dance |
Serious question, were you supposed to get your frenulum cut? |
That doesn't make sense. Neutrons are a subatomic particle and noontime is often a break from work. Y'all don't get out much. |
It's not a thing. The person "on this very board [who] uses it" made it up, probably having heard the term "dishwater" and gotten confused. Sorry. |
