Did Vance throw his Hindu under the bus for not being a born again Christian today?

she will convert. Hindu is not really a religion more a culture, and she already abandoned it.

Vance has already thrown his supposed Catholic faith under the bus and is going full white nationalist evangelical.

Why does she have to convert? MAGA just pretends to be Christian anyhow. REAL Christians know that Christ commanded us to take care of the sick and the poor, to feed the hungry, to shelter refugees and outcasts. Christ taught us the Beatitudes, and so on. MAGA does the exact opposite and proudly celebrates it. You cannot be both MAGA and Christian.

And many of the Catholics and Evangelicals see it. They are quiet-quitting MAGA in droves.

Funny. The worst part of this is that she has already stopped wearing the ring. Wow-- very telling. No grieving widow stops wearing their ring that fast. Damn.

I have more sympathy for a dead snake than I do for whatever 'plight' is supposed to be hers at the moment.

Vance desperately wants to be president. He and his handlers have come to the realization that his wife is a liability for no other reason that she isn't white with the Christian label attached. And that, my friends, isn't going down well with the crowd he needs for the nomination. He's laying the groundwork to dump her ass.

Don’t the Vance kids attend Catholic school? Mom can’t be that religious. My barely observant Jewish husband would never allow Catholic school.

MAGA Evangelicals have adopted the Seven Deadly Virtues as described in Camelot:

"The seven deadly virtues, those ghastly little traps
Oh no, my liege, they were not meant for me
Those seven deadly virtues were made for other chaps
Who love a life of failure and ennui

I find humility means to be hurt
It's not the earth the meek inherit, it's the dirt!"

Weird that Vance didn't tell his Protestant heretic audience the he'd wish they see the light and turn to Catholicism.

I refuse to believe there are 10,000 people that would show up anywhere for this dork and that phony widow. Is every local church goer and college kid paid $50 and free lunch to attend? The levels of astroturfing are so over the top.

You're deeply isolated from political reality then. The anti-immigration message delivered by Vance and the Trump team is HUGELY popular among average voters especially Gen Z. Like, I'm surprised you don't have any idea how thirsty people are for anti-immigration politics. It's the ONLY topic that can draw a crowd of 10K or 20K or 50K these days.

Indians I've spoken too consider the US immigration system stupid, and that they should crack down. India does not allow anything like this.

What imaginary or completely-out-of-touch Indians did you speak to? India has millions of illegal aliens, possibly as many as 10 million, mainly from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar (Rohingya etc). Their borders are porous and enforcement is lax.

And it’s obviously not because she doesn’t like to wear rings . Lol Those brass knuckles are something.

If the US cracks down, will we be starting with all of those who overstay their visas? And guess where India falls on that list.

the only people that are against H1B and OPT repeal are the urban elites that do not have to work with these scams

anyone that has to work with H1B wants it stopped. it is fraud. it is not about skilled labor, it is about cheap disposable labor.

Wow, I'd have at least pulled my head back a little to maybe have a chance of my wife not being pissed at me. She'd definitely note that hand placement.

I’m a very huggy person. Over the years, I’ve hugged a number of men, including my friends, my husband’s friends, and others. I have never once placed my hand on their hair nor have any of them put their hands on my hips (as JD did to Erika—see full pic).

Yes, completely agree. I'm now in a fancy social crowd where men and women always greet by kissing opposite cheeks. Never once has any man ever touched my hip or have I run my fingers through a man's hair or gotten anywhere near a man's hair. That is just so beyond inappropriate.

It's funny to me that Trump seemed to know how to push her away quickly during the last event, but here JD is just matching her every move.

Define “urban elite.” And what’s its opposite does that make you? A “rural rube”?
