So how many children are in your child's class in a Fairfax County school?

My children have:
22 kids in kindergarten 29 kids in 3rd grade |

18 in each (K and 3rd)
Our school's principal has worked to get grant-funding to keep classes small. Not sure of details. |

| 22 in 2nd grade. 17:15, if you are OK with disclosing ES name I would be grateful...I have a friend with young kids in Chicago mulling over a job offer here... often numbers low = good educational outcomes IMO. |

| 17:55 here. It's Forest Edge ES in Reston. Personally, I think it's a hidden gem. Also an AAP center. |

20:39 thank you. Haven't considered telling friend about Reston b/c of "graying" of population, South Lakes' bad reputation etc. but I am hearing such positive things lately about Sunrise Valley & Forest Edge. Will do more research and talk with more people while reading DCUM less.
