Thank you, and since the majority of everything (players, costs, revenue) don't come from "u-littles", I don't really care especially since my kids aren't "u-littles". Thanks for wasting my money and thousands of dollars LMVSC.

So....I don't understand this statement, it would seem to me to be the opposite. Also because once kids leave a program, they also don't tend to come back, but let's just talk numbers. The programs my kids are in tend to have 3, sometimes even 4 programs. At 11/12 kids in each, thats 35-45 kids paying pretty close if not the same amount as any other age. That shortens up a bit as numbers go up, but number of kids tends to stay around that so pick how long you want to call them ulittles, but at least 2-3 years of that forms your basis for the future (revenue, talent, whatever). Our kids at 11v11 tend to have 2 teams so there's again 32-40 kids. So maybe the ulittles don't get that much attention and maybe team fees don't add up as much, so the parent cost isn't as high - but the revenue to the club is the same if not more before you even get into forming the basis of your clubs future talent.

Now - LMVSC has a fairly good advantage to replacing players being so close to belvoir, there are kids moving in and out of the area all the time. But downside is that I assume if they get families from Belvoir, then they also lose them in 2-3 years as well so fairly transient. I'm making a big assumption there though, we're not actually at LMVSC to know what kids might have parents stationed at Belvoir, maybe there's a different club that focuses on that market.

Enrollment numbers have dropped off by about 1/3 from 2018/2019 season to 2019/2020 season. They dropped another 1/3 from 2019/2020 season to 2020/2021 season. That's an indicator the club's standing is not healthy.

No, they are higher (although close). But even if they were the exact same, what is the quality you're getting. This is further troubled by the development model now being 'academy structure' in which there was supposed to be player movement around a core of 5-6 players per the TD. Furthermore, we haven't seen the 'academy coach' at white squad games.

I think it's that way in most clubs, DD is a U11 at another club. What happens with the U15 boys or the U17 girls struggling (or excelling) is irrelevant to our experience

Yes, exactly. All the calculations of the director's salary and machinations about academy and how this team is doing versus that one. This is so over the top. Just take your kid and go. Damn its not that serious.

If you're serious about soccer and you stayed at LMVSC, that's kind of on you.

You would think as angry as they seem to be they would have moved on. I've seen several kids go and come this year to/from different clubs during the pandemic months.

Those parents must be swimming in $$$. Some of us will have to wait until the end of the year. If it was easy and the club didn't hold our player pass then we would have left already. Having to pay the balance and pay again at another club is just not doable.

Does LMVSC hold player cards? I've only heard of that happening once and it wasn't LMVSC.

^-- yes, they hold passes. Now, if you were to switch to ECNL or non-CCL, you can theoretically leave but they'll fight tooth and nail for every dime. If you're CCL, and EVEN IF YOUR COACH IS OKAY WITH YOU LEAVING, trust me they won't release you.

If you have not yet paid the total of the annual fee they are very unlikely to give it to you. Most other clubs ask for balance to be paid before releasing it.

I think rule is you can’t go to another ccl team but could you go to another club that is ccl but not the team that you are joining.

If both directors agree and LB would never agree. Even if you're joining Alexandria's NCSL team, they are a CCL club so it would need the director agreement.

If you are not receiving the service you signed up for, such as the academy within your DC age group, I don’t think any club would have a basis to force you to pay. Maybe pay a pro-rated fee on the services you did receive but I can not see how they can require full payment prior to releasing you. If they can prove that you did receive services as described when you registered, that’s a different circumstance.
