Black Doves on Netflix...

It supposedly gets great reviews.

Am I too simple to understand it? I am just so confused by who the different characters are.

I watched. I thought it was just okay.

I rolled my eyes when she answered her kids call while fending off attackers. So stupid. I watched two episodes and doubt I’ll finish it.

I enjoyed it, mainly because Ben Whishaw is wonderful in it. Keira Knightly is just ok. A little sorry to see Sarah Lancashire waste her time with such an underdeveloped character, but I suppose they needed someone with her gravitas for that role.

+1 for Ben Whishaw - he's great in everything he does.

I enjoyed it. It has been renewed for another season.

You need a lot of suspension of disbelief. But it's a fun easy show with a great vibe. Love Ben Whishaw and also Keira Knightley is easy to watch. I like the holiday music and decor contrasting with all the murders. Keira makes me feel like it's a very dark Love Actually ha.

I loved it! It's not realistic sure but it's a fun little watch. I liked the Christmas backdrop as well!

Op it is a bit confusing and you don't really get all the pieces until the end.

Looks like the HUMOR just skipped right over the top of your head.

I enjoyed this series and thought it was quality entertainment especially considering what options are available.

I liked it. Loved the girl triggerman team and the funny parts too.

I really enjoyed it. The crew of assassins is pretty funny. Yes Ben Winslow is great. Kiera is her usual. I love the mood and vibe - dogs combo of dark / noir and London Christmas.

I just started the series, and in that moment I got confused about whether I was watching a dark comedy or a spy thriller? Which is it?

I like the Christmas backdrop too. It does come together more at the end although I missed various bits over the 6 episodes and was still confused so will probably go back and rewatch before season 2.

There were times when it slightly reminded me of the Americans (e.g., anti-hero spy killers, their Claudia-esque handler), but of course nothing will ever be as good as that, lol. I still miss that show.

I enjoyed it too, especially well-timed for Christmas. It got preposterous towards the end but definitely enjoyable enough for me. The two assassin girls cracked me up, they were very good.
