Parents in law are coming for the holidays and I was told dad really likes ham.
I have never bought it before so where do you go to buy a good one? I think I'm looking for spiral cut and bone-in. I see on Goldbelly for like $100 for 8 lbs?? Or just get the super market one? |
| Go to the grocery store. Get Smithfield with a glaze, probably less than $30. |
| Go to the HoneyBaked Ham store! |
| Honey Baked Ham store (or order online for delivery), you tell them how many people, they'll tell you what size ham you need. It's all ready to go, remove from the refrigerator 3 hours before serving and put it on a platter. That's it |
| It's one ham, Michael. What could it cost? |
| Do the in laws like a honey baked ham? I am not a big fan of sugar on ham. |
| Wouldn't goldbelly be the highest priced version of the food you're shopping for? |
| Honeybaked Ham. I don’t know prices offhand, but it will probably be $75 maybe a bit more. |
Go to the store. You don’t want it misdelivered. |
|
| I paid $8 from giant (89 cents per pound). |
+1. My ham-loving in laws do not eat honey baked ham. |
| Honeybaked ham is the answer. Do order ahead at the holidays. |
|
$1,420 for a Cinco Jotas Bone-In 100% Ibérico de Bellota Jamón Acorn-Fed Ibérico Ham from Jabugo - Approximately 13-16 Pounds.
Expensive? Perhaps, but worth every penny. |

Go to honey baked. They are really good. Get the bone in 1/4 ham. Should be around $70-$90. You have to place an order in advance and the line will be insane on Christmas Eve. Go early. Don’t buy a Smithfield ham from the grocery store.
